MagTech™ is a fire retardant sheathing product. Wood structural sheathing OSB or plywood is laminated with magnesium oxide board. Wood structural sheathing is of 7/16, 5/8 and 3/4-in. thickness. Magnesium oxide board is 3 to 6 mm thick. MagTech is offered as nominal 4 x 8, 4 x 9 and 4 x 10 ft dimensions. The thickness varies depending on the base wood structural panel thickness and magnesium oxide board thickness.
