PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Contego Passive Fire Barrier (PFB) HS is a thick, white intumescent material that can be spray, brush or roll applied to provide fire protection. The intumescent action of the material causes it to expand at high temperatures. This foaming action provides a barrier between the fire and the material coated, reducing the rate of heat transfer.
The product is also marketed as High Solids (HS) Reactive Fire Barrier (RFB) Intumescent.
