Lexington Fire Fiber 20 Minute Flush Fire Doors. Single Swing, Standard Pairs and Double Egress (flush) doors for installation in up to 20 minute locations. Any listed wood, aluminum, or steel frames may be used as per frame manufacturer's listing(s).

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Maximum Sizes
Single Swing: 4'-0" x 9'-0"
Standard Pairs: 8'0" x 9'-0"
Double Egress: 8'-0" x 9'-0"
Temperature Rise Max. 250°F @ 20 mins.

**3-ply construction (HPL, Core, HPL) is allowed in 20 minute applications without hose under the following conditions:
  • Maximum 4'-0" x 8'-0" Single
  • Maximum 8'-0" x 8'-0" Standard Pair
  • Minimum 3 Point Standard Latching for Standard Pairs
  • UL 10B, UL 10C, and NFPA 252 only.
LIMITATIONS
Hardware – Cylindrical or mortise locks, card locks, surface mount hardware, concealed vertical rod fire exit hardware, rim exit hardware, concealed closer, concealed hinge edge closers, concealed door stop, mortise automatic door bottoms, maximum 1296 in2 lights, 48" x 48" maximum surface plates, viewers, louvers installed below latch level, automatic flushbolts, mortise exit devices, raceways, electric power transfers, edge guards, lay-on or applied molding, pivot and continuous hinges, concealed or invisible hinge (UIP SOSS 218 or listed equivalent with equal or smaller cut-out)  and lay-on or applied moldings (plant-ons).

Doors constructed as described in this procedure meet the requirements for both positive and neutral pressure fire tests, UL 10C, NFPA 252 & CAN/ULC S104
These doors are Category “A” doors (no additional edge sealing system is required). 

Doors labeled for positive pressure applications must include installation instructions to be furnished by the door labeler.  Unless otherwise noted in the door’s installation instructions all intumescent materials and smoke/draft control gasketing used in the assembly are to be installed per their respective manufacturer’s instructions.

These assemblies are eligible for Category B - Doors - Additional Edge-Sealing System Required
This category includes doors evaluated with an edge-sealing system (Category G) field-applied to the labeled frame or door. The application of the edge-sealing system does not require any machining of the frame or door. Please refer to "Category G - Edge-Sealing System" for individual manufacturer's listings.

These assemblies are eligible for use in any "Category C - Standard" frame. These doors may also be installed in frames listed in "Category C - Proprietary" in the accordance with the frame manufacturer's individual listing.

All doors listed in Category B are eligible to bear the "S" (for Smoke & Draft Control assemblies) if a listed "Category H - Smoke & Draft Control Gasket" has been applied to the assembly. Please refer to Category H for individual gasket manufacturer's listings.
