HSS2000 and HSS11 Intumescent Fire Seal for installation with wood/ composite core and/or wood edge fire doors eligible for use in any listed fire rated “Category C - Standard Frames” and in any listed fire rated “Category C - Proprietary Frames” in accordance with the frame manufacturer's individual listing(s) in up to and including 90-minutes. The intumescent seal is surface applied with self-stick tape to either the edges of the door or to the head and jambs of the frame on the rabbet of the frame (see manufacturer's instructions).

These systems are surface applied to either the perimeter of the door or frame, or meeting edge of the door (as indicated above). They may be kerf-applied, adhesive-backed, or mechanically fastened.
Edge-sealing systems are identified by a label or marking bearing the Warnock Hersey Certification Mark.
