Evaluated to the following:

Systems are listed in three categories in accordance with CAN/ULC-S134, Standard Methods of Fire Tests of Exterior Wall Assemblies.

EIFS Category 1
Systems qualified by testing as specified in Section 3.1.5.5 of the National Building Code of Canada, 1995.

EIFS Category 2
Systems qualified by protection of the combustible insulation with a non-combustible material (tested to CAN/ULC-S114) that will remain in place for at least 15 minutes when tested in conformance with CAN/ULC-S101, as specified in Clause 3.2.3.7(7) and 3.2.3.7(8) of the National Building Code of Canada, 1995.

EIFS Category 3
Factory Assembled Wall Panels qualified by protection of the combustible insulation with a non-combustible material that will remain in place for at least 15 minutes when tested in conformance with CAN/ULC-S101, as specified in Clause 3.2.3.7(7) and 3.2.3.7(8) of the National Building Code of Canada, 1995.

Intertek Testing Services certification program provides assurance that the labeled components of the systems provide the same contribution to fire performance of the systems as the actual samples used in the original fire tests. While these systems may also have been tested for other properties and performance characteristics, Intertek Testing Services certification program does not apply to such properties or characteristics unless specifically mentioned in the listing.

Note: Intertek recommends that systems be installed with horizontal firestopping located at vertical spacing not greater than 10 meters.

All listed system descriptions should be read in conjunction with the following drawing:

Note: Caulking (not shown) is an integral part of these systems and must be of a fire rated type recommended by the system listee.

For more information on the use and limitations of these systems, consult the individual manufacturer's instructions.

EIFS CATEGORY 1

The following systems have been evaluated using a full-scale, multi-story fire exposure test to determine conformance to the fire performance criteria specified in Section 3.1.5.5 of the National Building Code of Canada, 1995. In addition, all systems have also been evaluated for the ability to remain in place for not less than 15 minutes when tested in conformance with CAN/ULC-S101.
