Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) with Insert Raised or Flat Panel, or Routed Simulated Panel, Swinging-Type Fire Door for installation singly or in pairs in up to 20 minute locations with hose stream. For use in any "Category C - Standard" Frame. These doors may also be installed in frames listed in "Category C - Proprietary" in accordance with the door manufacturer's installation instructions. Field-Applied Edge Seal System is required. Refer to the door manufacturer's installation instructions for Edge-Seal System requirements.
Limitations: Cylindrical and Mortise Latches with Maximum 2-3/4" Backset and Minimum 1/2" Bolt Throw for single swing door and 3/4" Bolt Throw for Pairs/Surface-Mounted Vertical Rod, Rim or Mortise Type Fire Exit Hardware or Manual Flush Bolts/Surface Bolts/Surface-Mounted Closer or Concealed Overhead Closer. Door may be constructed with a square or arched top.
