Intumet FS 3003 Type Intumescent used as a component in Category "A" Doors (Positive Pressure Fire Rated Doors), Category "C" Door Frames (Positive Pressure Fire Rated Door Frames), or Category "G" Edge Seals distributed by Zero International.
Examples of Category "G" Edge Seal Systems: FS 3003 Edge Seal for use on 20 to 90 minute wood or composite core fire doors, FS 820 Kerf Gasketing System for use on 20 minute wood core fire doors, FS 821 Kerf Gasketing System for use on 20 minute wood core fire doors, FS 850 Dado (Intumescent) Edge- Sealing System for use on 20 minute wood core fire doors. The edge seal systems have been tested to UBC Standard 7-2 (1997) positive pressure and smoke leakage testing, without a hose stream test.
Note: The FS 3003, FS 820 Kerf, FS 821 Kerf, FS 850 Dado, and FS 851 Gasketing Systems must be installed according to Zero’s installation instructions and per NFPA 80 to ensure their fire rating.
