OVERALL LISTING NOTE:
MOLDING:
- Wood molding detailed in and installed according to LIF Drawing 5244T may be applied to LIF 20 - 60 Minute Fire Rated Single Swing Steel Door Frames that have a maximum door leaf size of 3'6" x 8'0". Wood moulding shall be applied with the use of Silicone Adhesive SCS1000. Please note that this allowance is in regard to door frames only, and does not include installation on transom and/or side lite/panel frame members. The door used for this frame application must be a listed wood door with intumescent seals as required by the door listing. The use of steel doors is not permitted with this application.
- The molding can be veneered with Lacewood or other hardwood (minimum s.g. 0.47) with a thickness of 0.030" to 0.090"
- HPL meeting NEMA LD-3 can also be used to cover the moulding.
- Moulding has MDF base (1/2") with a density of 47 pcf
