The HeatShield Chamber Coat Masonry Fireplace Smoke Chamber Repair System consists of a refractory cement material that is shipped as a dry powder, and then mixed on site with tap water that is overlaid onto the smoke chamber of a masonry fireplace.  The refractory material is applied at a minimum thickness of 1/8-inch with a trowel.
