PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Limitations:
- Door with skin thickness 2.0mm limited to 90 minutes with a maximum height of 2927mm.
- Door with Rock wool density of 50-96 kg/m
3 is limited to 90 minutes with additional C channel at the meeting edge. Door with Rock wool density of up to 50 kg/m
3 are allowed for up to 180 minutes rating (see sizes below).
- 1.5mm to 3mm lead lining is allowed for steel stiffened Rockwool infilled door.
- Door skin with Fiber glass insulation of density 18-48 kg/m
3 are allowed for up to 180 minutes rating (see sizes below).
- Stiffeners and reinforcement channels can be adhered with the leaf skin using 3M double-sided adhesive tape.
- Concealed/ invisible hinges (ref: 418SSU32), concealed power transfer (ref: CRPT-10 AL) and cable race way (electric conduit) are allowed in steel-stiffened doors with mineral wool or fiber glass infill doors.
- 12 Inch diameter circular vision is limited to maximum 90 minutes.
- 24 inch diameter circular vision is limited to 45minutes
- Pair doors to have astragal unless equipped with two vertical rod exit device. Astragal can be welded or screw fixed to the door leaf.
- Communicating door designs (two door panels in one frame) for the currently listed steel stiffened and PU/honeycomb infill doors are allowed for the same fire rating as of original listed doorset.
- PU/EPS/honeycomb infill doors can use embossed faces. In order to keep the door balanced both the door faces must be same.

* For the door height over 2425mm, the following conditions are to be followed:
- The assembly shall be locked with a deadlock positioned 500 mm above the door handle – Not applicable for egress application.
- For single-leaf doors, fire latch bolts shall be installed with one located 500 mm below the door handle and one at the top horizontal edge.
- For double-leaf doors, fire latch bolts shall be installed with one located 500 mm below the door handle, one at mid-height between the handle and the top edge, and one at the top horizontal edge.
C. Polyurethane and polystyrene Hollow metal door (Skin thickness 24 gauge , 0.6mm) for 3 hours

*Maximum width of glazing further limited by what is allowed based on door width while maintaining minimum edge of door to glazing distance of 150 mm, (150 mm minimum distance also applies to top of door)
** 5.5 inches (139.7mm) from door edge to glazing cut out must be maintained (minimum). 1.5mm steel C-channel must surround glazing cut-out.
Multiple glazing with maximum clear view size area shall be 1296 square inches (maximum height and maximum width cannot be combined)
LOUVERS
Permitted Listed louver for use in 3 hour rated steel fire doors. Maximum dimensions are 24 in wide x 24 in high (576 sq. in)
Protection/Kick plate:- Protection plates of size 1219mm wide x 1168 mm height of brass, bronze, steel, stainless steel, cold rolled or aluminum.
The top of the plate shall be a maximum of 48 inches above the bottom of the door. Plates may be installed on one or both sides of the door. Maximum plate thickness: 1.5mm.

The product noted above has been tested and qualified per UL 10C for a 3 Hour Positive Pressure Fire Rating. Also meets the requirements of UL 10B, CAN/ULC S104 and NFPA 252.
