Xtreme Manufacturing LLC. - Factory Built Buildings Company: XTREME Manufacturing

CSA A277* Rated Factory Built Buildings

The factory-built units are constructed at the Xtreme Manufacturing LLC. facility and transported to the intended building site. When completely assembled, the units are equipped with all normal facilities to connect to municipal plumbing and electrical services. The prefabricated units constructed in one (or more) sections, are set onto the building's foundation and joined together at the building site.

The certification applies to in-factory built prefabricated buildings, modules, and panels constructed of any material provided they comply with the requirements of the building code/regulation/standard that apply at the installation location and covers buildings of any occupancy.

The certification does not cover portions of buildings or services that are not completed in the factory, site connections to municipal services, and transport of buildings or their erection at the building site.

The Intertek mark warrants an approved factory quality program and is intended to provide a means of verifying that the prefabricated portion of a building, module, or panel, which may include factory-installed structural, plumbing, heating, and electrical systems, has been designed and built to meet or exceed the requirements of the appropriate building code or standards.

CSA A277* Rated Factory Built Commercial/Industrial Relocatable Structures

The factory built transportable modules specifically designed to be readily relocatable and usable without permanent foundations, are constructed at the Xtreme Manufacturing LLC. manufacturing facility and transported to the intended site.

When completely assembled the units provide accommodation for an industrial work force living and working in a temporary location, and meet the requirements of Alberta Building Code Division B Part 10 Relocatable Industrial Accommodation and/or similar structures built in compliance with the National Building Code of Canada as provincially amended, and other provincial building codes.

The units are constructed in one (or more) sections, which are connected at the building site. The units are used as field offices, construction camp facilities, shops used in conjunction with industrial construction, mobile equipment and other temporary commercial or industrial buildings. When welded steel structures form part of the structure of these units, the manufacturer will be required to obtain Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) certification to the requirements of CSA W47.1 standard.

This certification program does not include:
  • Vehicular lighting or brake wiring systems;
  • Verifications of Fire Alarm System, Sprinkler System and Fire Suppression Systems;
  • The 6 or l2V battery operated system for clearance lights etc. which is entirely separate from the l20V system (under the jurisdiction of the Departments of Highways of the various Provinces)
