A/D Fire Protection's (of the Carboline Global Inc.) Firefilm IIIC (II) and Firefilm III (A3) are decorative, thin-film intumescent fire-resistive coatings for structural steel at interior locations in buildings. During a fire, it expands to form a meringue-like insulating ash that protects the steel from fire.
The A/D Firefilm Family of intumescent coatings are applied to prepared structural steel members primed in accordance with the Manufacturer's published application instructions including acceptable primers and finish coats (see public documents section).
