Product Description
Horizontally sliding, side coiling, side acting, vertical slat coil fire door assembly with or without integral swinging doors. Can be coil on one side or center parting. Steel stud drywall or masonry construction. May incorporate vision panels.
Alternate Bi-Parting Door Configuration: An alternate bi-parting door configuration consisting of a McKeon Series S4000, S9000 and S7000 Side Coiling and Side Acting Steel Fire Door and a McKeon Series AC8000 Accordion Fire Door is allowed. The McKeon Door Series with the most stringent restrictions and limitations, including size, will be applied for this alternate bi-parting door configuration.

Models S4000-TR, S9000-TR and S7000-TR also qualify for the following temperature rise ratings:
- 450 degree Fahrenheit maximum temperature rise rating at 30 minutes when two units are installed back to back on both the inner and outer side of a masonry or drywall opening.
- 650 degree Fahrenheit maximum temperature rise rating at 30 minutes when used singly in a masonry or drywall opening.
- Please note, if an Integral Proprietary Swinging Door is used in conjunction with the McKeon Series S4000-TR, S9000-TR, or S7000-TR Side Coiling and Side Acting Steel Fire Doors, the integral swinging doors must also bear a temperature rise rating equal to or better than the respective temperature rise ratings noted above.

aThese assemblies were evaluated without the use of an artificial bottom seal. When installed with the manufacturer-provided brushes and sweeps, they may be installed in areas where pressurization is provided to control smoke movement in accordance with Section 4.3.2 of NFPA 105 and for hoistway opening protection and lobby doorways as allowed in Chapter 30 of the IBC. For installations exclusive of hoistway opening protection and lobby doorways, and where pressurization is not used to control smoke movement, seals at the bottom edges of the assemblies are optional.
