For use in listed fire rated steel stud or wood stud drywall applications or in listed fire rated masonry wall applications. For drywall wall applications, steel studs shall have a minimum thickness of 18 gauge, and double studs are required to be nested around the rough opening with cross bracing to the next stud at four locations to line up with the frame anchors.
