CATEGORY A - DOORS - NO ADDITIONAL EDGE-SEALING SYSTEM REQUIRED:
Wood Core Type (Particleboard), Series 520p, Swinging Flush Design Fire door with hardwood stiles and rails for installation singly, in pairs, in double egress in 20 minute locations (without hose stream). For use in any "Category C - Standard" standard and steel Kerf type frame. These doors may also be installed in steel/wood frames listed in "Category C - Proprietary" in accordance with the door manufacturers installation instructions.
Limitations: Cylindrical and Mortise Latches to 2-3/4" Backset/Surface and Concealed Vertical Rod (LRB)/Rim Fire Exit Hardware/Surface Mounted/Mortised Manual/Automatic Flush Bolts/Raceways/Hinges (Excluding Pivots) per NFPA-80. Maximum 1296 in2 Clearview vision Panel with door provided with Top Latch/Bolt. Intumescent Strip must be provided in strike box.|

All doors listed in Category A are eligible to bear the "S" (for Smoke & Draft Control assemblies) if a listed "Category H - Smoke & Draft Control Gasket" has been applied to the assembly. Please refer to Category H for individual gasket manufacturer's listings.

A field applied edge-seal system is required. Please refer to the door manufacturer's installation instructions for edge-seal system requirements.

Limitations: Must be used with negative pressure labeled Dunbarton Corporation 16 or 18 gauge steel (knock down) Kerf Design Type Rediframe* or equivalent for the FS 820 Kerf Gasketing System or Negative Pressure Labeled Dunbaration Corporation 16 or 18 gauge steel (knock down) Rediframe* or equivalent for the FS 850 Dado Gasketing System, both in steel/wood stud drywall openings. May use other labeled frames for masonry openings. Minimum wall thickness 4". Cylindrical, and mortise latches to 2-3/4" backset, surface mounted vertical rod or rim type fire exit hardware, surface mounted top and bottom flush bolts, raceways, and hinges (excluding pivots) per NFPA 80. Pairs must use Zero International's Model No. 59 FS mortise meeting stile protection and intumescent strip in strike box.
