*CFD-521 can only be installed in UL Design No. L521, L546, L550 & P522 Floor/Ceiling and Roof/Ceiling Assemblies.

Note:
- 1. All dimensions have a tolerance of ± 1/16".
2. The fire rating of the floor/ceiling or roof/ceiling assembly (in which a given damper is installed) determines the overall fire rating. Thus, a 3-hour fire rated damper installed in a 1-hour fire rated (wood truss type, combustible floor/ceiling) assembly results in an overall fire rating of 1-hour for the whole unit.
3. The total number of damper shall not exceed the total number of 12" diameter or larger duct openings in any individual floor/ceiling or roof/ceiling design.
4. The installation must be per manufacturer's installation instructions or NFPA-90A.

Abbreviations: CFD = Ceiling Fire Damper; ES = Extended Sleeve; NS = No Sleeve; R = Round; LP = Low Profile; SB = Single Blade; ESC2 = Extended Sleeve with Side Collar; SC2 = Side Collar; ESR = Extended Sleeve with Round Collar Duct Connection; EST = Extended Sleeve Tapered; STC 2 = Extended Sleeve Tapered with Side Collar; NSB = No Sleeve with "B" type duct connection; ESET = Extended Sleeve with Extra Transion.
