PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Model 6400 electric strike for listed metal door / metal frame applications
- Single door applications may be rated for up to 3 Hours, positive pressure.
- Door pair applications may be rated for up to 90 Minutes, positive pressure.
INSTALLATION LIMITATIONS
Listed cylindrical or mortise lockset with a minimum 3/4" latch throw.
Single swing doors (Maximum 3 hour rating) - maximum 4'0" wide x 8'0" high.
- The electric strike may only be installed in frames, minimum 16 gauge steel, fully grouted.
Single swing doors (Maximum 90 minutexrating) - maximum 4'0" wide x 8'0" high.
- The electric strike may only be installed in frames, minimum 16 gauge steel. For installation in fire rated stud and drywall or masonry walls, grouting optional.
Standard pair doors (Maximum 90 minute rating) - metal doors only, maximum 8'0" wide x 8'0" high pairs [maximum 4'0" wide x 8'0" high individual leaf size].
- Minimum 3-point latching for standard pairs - (single point standard latching on active leaf and two point latching [top and bottom] on inactive leaf [listed surface bolts or automatic flush bolts]).

- NFPA 252
- CAN/ULC S104
