CATEGORY B DOORS - ADDITIONAL EDGE-SEALING SYSTEM REQUIRED
Edge Seal Restrictions/Limitations:
Option 1: 1 strip of listed and labeled Lorient intumescent, 0.0815” x 9/16”, (or listed and labeled equivalent intumescent) applied to the hinge, latch, and head jambs around the perimeter of the door.
Option 2: Concealed intumescent stile and top rail design. Pemko S773 (or listed and labeled equivalent rated gasket systems) applied around the jambs and head of the door frame on the frame stop. Pemko S44 (or listed and labeled equivalent rated gasket systems) applied around the jambs and head of the door frame on the frame rabbet.
Note: For neutral pressure applications, intumescent is not required to be applied around the perimeter of the door.

The product noted above has been tested and qualified per UL 10c, NFPA 252, and CAN / ULC S104 for a 20 Minute Positive Pressure Fire Rating with Hose Stream.
The product noted above has been tested and qualified per UL 10b, NFPA 252, and CAN / ULC S104 for a 20 Minute Neutral Pressure Fire Rating with Hose Stream.
These doors are eligible for use in any "Category C - Standard" frame. These doors may also be installed in frames listed in "Category C - Proprietary" in the accordance with the frame manufacturer's individual listing. Frame jambs must be fully grouted.
The door noted above is eligible to bear the "S" (for Smoke & Draft Control assemblies) if a listed "Category H - Smoke & Draft Control Gasket" has been applied to the assembly. Please refer to Category H for individual gasket manufacturer's listings. The NGP 5075 and NGP 5060B CAT H smoke and draft gaskets are allowed options.
