The one-hour fire-resistance-rated ceiling assembly is comprised of nominal 4 feet by 8 feet by 2-3/4 inch sections welded together. Each section is assembled from various materials, including: steel, gypsum, mineral wool, ceramic fiber tape, and sealant.
