PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Designwall 2000 and Designwall 4000 panels are metal faced, foam insulated wall panels designed for use as the exterior cladding of commercial buildings. The panels are produced in thicknesses of 2, 2 ½, 3 and 4 inches. The standard panel widths are 24, 30 and 36 inches with other widths available. The metal facings are most commonly painted minimum 22 gauge steel on the exterior face of the building and painted minimum 24 gauge steel on the interior face. Steel can be ASTM A653 SS G90 with minimum Grade 33, ASTM A792 SS AZ50 (or greater) with minimum Grade 33 or ASTM A1046 SS ZM90 coating with minimum Grade 33 .The facings can optionally be 0.040” aluminum on both faces. The core of the DW2000 panels consists of a polyisocyanurate foam board or Kingspan's alternate Quadcore B foam board of a specific thickness and width, with the edges profiled and machined according the side joint design. The foam board core is laminated to the metal facings using an adhesive. The DW4000 panel core consists of a continuous pour-in-place polyisocyanarate foam or Kingspan's alternate Quadcore. The panels have a dual tongue and groove “ship lap” joint. Extruded rubber gaskets and liquid non-skinning butyl are used to seal the metal to metal panel joints.
Designwall 2000R panels are ribbed profile, metal faced, foam insulated wall panels designed for use as the exterior cladding of commercial buildings. The panels are produced in thicknesses of 2 ½, 3 and 4 inches. The ribs are 7/8 in. deep and spaced 4 in. apart. Designwall 2000R panels are 12, 16, 20, or 24 in. wide. The metal facings are 22 gauge steel on the exterior face and 24 gauge steel on the interior face. Steel can be ASTM A653 SS G90 with minimum Grade 33, ASTM A792 SS AZ50 (or greater) with minimum Grade 33 or ASTM A1046 SS ZM90 coating with minimum Grade 33 .
The core of the panels consists of a QuadCore-B rigid foam board of a specific thickness and width, with the edges profiled and machined according to the side joint design of the Designwall 2000R panel. The foam board core is laminated to the metal facings using an adhesive. The panels have a dual tongue and groove “ship lap” joint. Extruded rubber gaskets are used to seal the metal-to-metal panel joints.
VALE panels are ribbed profile (exterior), steel faced, foam insulated sandwich panels. The panels are produced in thicknesses of 3 and 4 inches. The standard panel width is 36 inches. VALE panels consist of polyisocyanurate (PIR) core discontinuously foamed-in-place between the metal skins. VALE panel facings are 22 gauge exterior face with 24 gage interior face. Steel can be ASTM A653 SS G90 with minimum Grade 33, ASTM A792 SS AZ50 (or greater) with minimum Grade 33 or ASTM A1046 SS ZM90 coating with minimum Grade 33 . VALE panel joints are sealed with an extruded rubber gasket on the interior tongue and groove interlock, and an optional 1/4 inch bead of non-skinning butyl sealant on the exterior tongue and groove interlock.
