FOR USE WITH CATEGORY B DOORS - ADDITIONAL EDGE-SEALING SYSTEM REQUIRED
Edge Seal Restrictions/Limitations: 1 strip of listed and labeled intumescent is required to be applied to the hinge, latch, and head jambs around the perimeter of the door, either surface applied or embedded within the frame rabbet.
Standard Pair also requires a listed intumescent (graphite-based intumescent on one leaf edge and Palusol on the other leaf edge); surface applied or concealed beneath lipping.

The product noted above has been tested and qualified within full door assemblies per UL 10c, NFPA 252, and CAN/ULC S104 for up to and including a 60 Minute Positive Pressure Fire Rating.
The product noted above has also been tested and qualified within full door assemblies per BS 476 Part 22 (1987) for an Integrity Rating of 60 Minutes. (Please see the full door listing for Insulation Ratings and full assembly listing details.)
These doors are eligible for use in any listed "Category C - Standard" steel frame as well as listed wood frames in accordance with the frame manufacturer's individual listing. Steel frame jambs must be fully grouted.
The door noted above is eligible to bear the "S" (for Smoke & Draft Control assemblies) if a listed "Category H - Smoke & Draft Control Gasket" has been applied to the assembly. Please refer to Category H for individual gasket manufacturer's listings.
