CSA A277* FACTORY BUILT BUILDINGS
The factory built units are constructed at the Elm Acres Ltd. manufacturing facility and transported to the intended dwelling site. When completely assembled, the units are equipped with all normal facilities to connect to municipal services. The units are constructed in one (or more) sections, which are connected at the building site.
The Intertek certification covers the construction of the building including the factory installation of all structural, plumbing, gas, heating and electrical components in compliance with Part 9 of the applicable building codes, and intends to circumvent the necessity to inspect, by local authorities, the above mentioned services. The certification does not cover site connections to municipal services, other units or site mounting features.
