90 Minute Fire Rated Flood/Fire Door and Frame Assembly, Model PD522FFR and HYDRO1-PD522.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
16 gauge steel faced, stiffened doors and steel frame (minimum 14 gauge steel) assembly for installation in masonry applications and in steel building framing.  Hinge and lock jambs of frames must be fully grouted (head of frame is not required to be grouted).
 
Maximum Size of Openings
Single Swing 4’-0” wide by 8’-0” high
Standard Pair 8’-0” wide by 8’-0” high (individual door leaf shall not exceed single swing limitation).  Removable or fixed mullion required.
Double Egress Not Allowed

Door Thickness: 2-1/8”

Limitations:
Mortise or Cylindrical Latches with up to 2-3/4" Backset and minimum 3/4” throw, Surface Vertical Rod (top and bottom latching), Surface Mounted Rim Fire Exit Hardware, Surface Mounted Multi-point Latching, Viewers, Surface Mounted Closers, Surface Bolts, Surface Mounted Protection Plates, Viewer, Louver (Maximum – 24” x 24”), Surface Mounted Door Bottoms, Vision Light Kit with Ceramic Glazing - Maximum 121 in2. clear view for 90 minutes (or maximum listed by manufacturer of glass and vision kit), Mullion for Standard Pairs is required, Fire pins (fire pins are projected and are engaged into the door frame when the door leaf is closed) required.

Single Swing and Standard Pair Latching Options:
Mortise or Cylindrical Latches with up to 2-3/4" Backset and minimum 3/4” throw.
Surface Vertical Rod (top and bottom latching)
Surface Mounted Rim Fire Exit Hardware (at standard height)
Surface Mounted Multi-point latching (such as Securitech 83MLD(F) three-point latch)

Auxiliary Locking (Must be used in a combination with approved latching methods):
Deadlock (Cylindrical with a maximum 2-1/8" diameter bore and maximum backset of 5")

Johnson Security Lock has been successfully fire tested and can be used at the discretion of the AHJ.

Both singles and pairs require four 3/8” x 5/8” pins welded to the hinge edge of the door (fire pins are projected and are engaged into the door frame when the door leaf is closed).
