Al Kuhaimi - Kick/Armour Plates for use in listed steel fire doors
Product Description
Kick/Armour plate fixed using #6 x 5/8 truss head metal screws (spaced a maximum 6 inch on-center around the perimeter of the plate) or adhered to the door face with a listed and labelled fire rated adhesive for use in steel fire door applications.
To be used on listed steel fire doors (Category A, B or D).
Limitations:
Size - 1219mm x 1168mm; top of the plate is to be limited to a maximum of 48 inches above the bottom of the door
Materials allowed: brass, bronze, steel (stainless 304 or 300 series or cold rolled), or aluminum
Thickness range - 1.4mm (17 Gauge), 1.5mm (16 Gauge) & 1.8mm (15 Gauge)

Allowed to be used on up to 180 minute (3 hr) fire rated steel doors according to the following standards:
UL 10C (2016)
NFPA 252 (2017)
