The
Fireline F140 series fire barrier (vertical) (inside mount) 2 and 4 in., is
a 120 minute rated fire-resistive joint system. The fire resistive joint system consists of a metallic system and multiple layers of fire blanket used as a fire barrier. The “Fireline F140 Series” is used as a fire-resistive joint system in commercial buildings as protection to deter smoke, hot gasses and flames from traveling between walls. Intertek is only certifying the fire barrier portion of the fire resistive joint system, which is manufactured by InPro Corporation. The metallic system must be either supplied by Inpro Corporation or another manufacturer and comply with the requirements of the Intertek Design Listings.
