Unless otherwise noted, products listed in this section are evaluated for installation recessed into one surface of a fire rated wall assembly. Application of these products requires removal of a portion of the fire rated membrane from one surface of a stud wall and installation of the product into the opening created. The products are evaluated for fire exposure from both surfaces and are required to maintain the integrity of the original wall rating. The products are to be installed per the manufacturer's installation instructions and applicable local code requirements. Products will bear the Warnock Hersey Certification Mark.
