PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The products manufactured by Rmax, a Business Unit of Sika Corporation are rigid, closed-cell polyisocyanurate foamed plastic insulation board with facings on each side. The products are identified collectively as Wall Products, under various Trade Names depending upon the facings applied. The Trade Names are as follows:

Acceptable for use in attics and crawl spaces without prescriptive ignition barriers when all of the following conditions are met:

  2. There are no interconnected attic areas, or interconnected crawl space areas
  3. Air in the attic or crawl space, as applicable, is not circulated to other parts of the building
  4. Ventilation is provided when required by:
  • For attics: IBC Section 1202.2* or IRC Section R806*, as applicable
  • For crawl spaces: IBC Section 1202.4*, or IRC R408.1*, as applicable
  1. The foam plastic is limited to the maximum thickness and density tested
  2. In attics, combustion air is provided in accordance with IMC Section 701*

Durasheath®
Maximum 4.5 inches insulation in Walls only
ICC-ES AC12, Appendix B (modified - insulation tested in walls only) Meets conditions of acceptance
