PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The QC Facades QuadroClad QC150 Aluminum Honeycomb Core Panel is an exterior cladding system. It is designed to be attached onto exterior walls to provide an exterior finish. The panels are 4 feet wide, and are available in 4 or 8-foot in length.
PERFORMANCE TESTS
The QuadroClad QC150 Aluminum Honeycomb Core Panel has met the following ratings when installed in a supporting construction of 18 gauge, 2 x 2 horizontal steel girts, spaced maximum 2 feet on centre, attached on a base wall.

Product:

Joints:
3/8 in. or 1 in. vertical joints, 3/8 in. horizontal joints, established using proprietary QC Facades retaining strips.
Retaining Strips:
3/8 in. joint - 13/16 in. x 5/16 in., aluminum profile, inserted into two adjoining panel edges, securing panels to the Hat Track using fasteners. 1 in. joint - 1-7/8 in. x 1/4 in., aluminum profile, inserted into two adjoining panel edges, securing panels to the Hat Track using fasteners.
Fasteners:
#10 x 1 in., self-drilling, zinc coated screws, spaced at maximum 24 in. on centre, securing retaining strips to proprietary QC Facades hat tracks. Three (3) screws placed on opposing sides of hat track splices starting at maximum 1 in. from splice, spaced at maximum 1 in. on centre.
#12 x 1 in. hex washer head, self-drilling screws, installed through the flanges of the hat tracks into the sub-wall structure. Two (2) screws are placed on opposing sides of the hat track, spaced at maximum 24 in. on centre, where contact is made with the steel girts.
