The Hydra DoorCo, LLC Model E3684/E4884 is an electric-powered overhead sliding door operator intended for use in detention applications requiring fire-, and/or smoke-, rated neutral pressure fire door assemblies.
++The assemblies were tested under positive pressure and can be labled with the UL10C label at the descretion of the AHJ
NOTE: To achieve a fire-, and/or smoke-, rated assembly, the operator must be paired with an appropriately rated - and separately listed - 2" thick steel sliding door that is fire rated and intended for use in detention applications.

The door operator consists of a heavy-duty steel frame installed into and around a masonry wall doorway opening. An electric powered sliding track mechanism is affixed to the frame above the wall opening and a separately listed fire-, and/or smoke-, rated 2" thick steel door intended for use in detention applications is attached to the operator’s sliding mechanism utilizing a welded connection.
With fire-rated seals installed along the door edges (leading, trailing, & top), the operator assembly described above was tested per test method UL 1784, "Standard for Air Leakage Tests of Door Assemblies." For the air leakage compliance noted below, the assembly must have the fire-rated seals installed detailed in the manufacturing section.
