PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Latched, single-acting, single leaf agglomerate core based door (Category A) to be installed in listed Marcos Martinez Minguela - Proprietary frames (Category C) or listed mineral core based/timber based frames (Category C) of equal or higher fire rating (with or without wood sub-frame).
Door Core - Proprietary Agglomerate core sandwich, overall leaf thickness - 55mm
Limitations:
Maximum leaf size: 1013mm x 2440mm x 55 mm (width x height x thickness)
Tested components: Finished Facing – White lacquered (RAL-9003 by Industrias Sambara), Lockset - Mega 349 (Inther), Door Handles – HERA (Inther), Hinges - 1086 CR (Inther), Door Closer – CTB 72 (Inther).
Natural oak wood veneer facing is allowed. 0.4mm thick PVC edge finish (by Plásticos ALAI S.A) or veneer edge finish is allowed on the vertical and top edges. 3 x 2mm (width x depth) “pico de gorrión” groove surface design (2 vertical and 4 horizontal lines) is allowed on the faces of the door.
0.4mm thick veneer vinyl finish facing (Ref: RENOLIT ALKORCELL, by Renolit Ibérica S.A.) is allowed for 20 minutes without hose stream fire rating applications.
Alternative hardware - Lockest - Supra 549 (Inther), Door Handles - Hades (Inther) and Door Closer - CTB69 (Inther) are allowed. Concealead Hinges - Alfa 31 (Inther) and Concealed Door Closer - CTO96 concealed door closer (Inther) are allowed for 20 minutes with hose stream rating applications only. Hinges - 1076 CR (Inther) are allowed for 20 minutes without hose stream fire rating applications only.
Alternative UL 10C listed and labeled hardware (e.g. mortise locksets, mortise butt hinges and surface mounted closers) for use with Agglomerate core/timber based fire doors may be installed.
FIRE RATINGS
Marcos Martinez Minguela – Latched, single-acting, single leaf Agglomerate-based Door (Category A) to be installed in listed Marcos Martinez Minguela - Proprietary frames (Category C) or listed mineral core based/timber based frames (Category C) of equal or higher fire rating (with or without wood sub-frame) has been evaluated according to the requirements of the standard UL 10C (2016) and has qualified for the following ratings:
Fire Rating: 45 Minutes (3/4 Hours)
Note - The door (Model 3) may be allowed to be installed in a listed steel frame as a Category B door for 20 minutes without hose stream fire rating with an intumescent strip (Ref: PALUSOL® PL, by Promat) of size 30 x 2mm (w x thk.) installed on the metal frame rebate. Hinges (Ref: Pernio SOLECO grandes pesos, by SOALECO TRDERS S.L. (IGLE)) are allowed for door applications in metal frames.
Also meets the requirements of UL 10B/NFPA 252.
