These products are a semi-rigid mineral fiber insulation batt. The products may be faced or unfaced. This product is used in curtain wall insulation.
Curtain Wall Insulation
A Mineral Wool Insulating material applied between vertical framing members in fire resisting perimeter joints. It is available in 3, 4.5, and 6 pound per cubic foot densities in varying thicknesses, both faced and unfaced.
Custom sizes are available on special order. It is sold under the respective names CW4, CW6, and CW8.
Window Wall Insulation
A Mineral Wool Insulating Board material applied between vertical framing walls in commercial buildings and in backpan applications. It is available unfaced at a nominal density of 5 pounds per cubic foot. It is sold under the name JM MinWool Window Wall.
