MetaFlex® Pro Shear MAX 2Hr Wall Fire Barrier:
The product is a fire barrier consisting of the following layers:
- Inner (Front) Package:
- 0.002” thick stainless steel foil
- Multiple layers of high temperature fiber insulation blanket
- 0.002” thick stainless steel foil
- Outer (Back) Package:
- 0.002” thick stainless steel foil
- Multiple layers of high temperature fiber insulation blanket
- 0.002” thick stainless steel foil
The vertical fire barrier is also equipped with steel flanges with an intumescent strip for attachment to the substrate.
