Foam Supplies, Inc. genX™ insulation is a two-component, open cell, spray-applied polyurethane foam plastic. The insulation has a nominal in-place density of 0.55 pcf. The insulation is produced in the field by combining a polymeric isocyanate (A component) with a resin (B component).
The insulation meets the requirements of Mandatory Testing and selected Optional Testing of ICC-ES
Acceptance Criteria for Spray-applied Foam Plastic Insulation (AC377) for a low-density insulation as described in Code Compliance Research Report CCRR-0390.
