*The door assemblies may be installed without a gasket or seal at the bottom of the assembly except where the assembly is installed where pressurization is provided to control smoke movement. The gap between the bottom of the assembly and the finished floor shall be a maximum of 3/8 in., based on the requirements for fire resistance applications.
