CSA A277* Rated Factory Built Buildings
The factory-built buildings are constructed at the Wasea Metal Industries Ltd. manufacturing facility located in Rocky View County, AB and transported to the intended building site. The certification covers the design, manufacture, and erection of both self-framing and rigid frame steel buildings, modules, and other shelters. The prefabricated structures housing existing piping, mechanical, or electrical equipment are shipped together at the building site when completed.
The certification applies to in-factory built and assembled prefabricated structures and all electrical and plumbing components attached to it and comply with the requirements of the building code, regulations, and standards that apply at the final location.
The certification does not cover portions of buildings or services that are not completed in the factory, site connections to municipal services, and transport of buildings or their erection at the building site.
The Intertek mark warrants an approved factory quality program and is intended to provide a means of verifying that the prefabricated portion of a building, module, or panel, has been designed and built to meet or exceed the requirements of the appropriate building code or/and standards
