Auxiliary retrofit deadlock for installation in listed 20 minute wood core/faced doors and hollow metal doors. See the door manufacturer’s individual listings for additional assembly information, maximum sizes, and limitations of use. The Level Bolt Edition deadbolt is retro-fit deadbolt that is intended for use with existing listed deadbolts.
Note: This lock cannot be used as the only method of door securement. The listed door should also include a listed primary latch (i.e., cylindrical or mortise latch).
The product noted above has been tested and qualified per UL 10C (2016) “Positive Pressure Fire Test of Door Assemblies” and NFPA 252 (2017) “Fire Tests of Door Assemblies” for a 20 minutes without hose stream positive pressure fire rating.
