PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
RACO Solutions II frames are extruded aluminum frames for use in smoke and draft control assemblies. The frames contain a kerf-mounted silicone perimeter bulb seal and may be used with RACO 250 (Narrow Stile), 400 (Medium Stile), or 550 (Wide Stile) Series Commercial Interior Aluminum and Glass Doors. The glazed aluminum doors are constructed of extruded aluminum cellular construction with a mechanically attached aluminum glazing stop. Glazing must be minimum 1/4-inch-thick monolithic glass and must be sealed on both sides with a silicone gasket.
The frames may also be used with third-party wood doors that bear an independent label denoting compliance with UL 10C. Any modification to a third-party wood door must be in compliance with that door's UL 10C certification. An "S" label applied to the frame shall cover both the frame and third-party wood door when the following requirements are met:

*These assemblies were tested without an artificial bottom seal using an NGP 320S automatic door bottom. The assembly, including the NGP 320S automatic door bottom, may be installed in areas where pressurization is provided to control smoke movement in accordance with Section 4.3.2 of NFPA 105 (2019).

The assemblies are not to be installed in areas where pressurization is provided to control smoke movement in accordance with Section 4.3.2 of NFPA 105 (2019) or for hoistway opening protection and lobby doorways where prohibited in Chapter 30 of the 2018 IBC.
