The wood version Rite Door® by Adams Rite is an Integrated Door Opening Assembly consisting of architectural commercial swinging fire-rated or non-rated wood door (Minimum thickness 1-3/4”) which includes fire door hardware for installation for single swing, or in pairs, including double egress installed in labeled 14/16/18 gauge metal frames in 20/45/60/90-minute locations. Less than 450ºF temperature rise @ 30 minutes. Factory-Installed Model Nos. D3976 Series Recessed [Inset] Top Latching Exit Device and D3940 Series Top Latching Dual-Lever Device for single leaf and same swing leaves of pairs or double egress and Adams Rite D3976 Series Recessed [Inset] Exit Device with fire mount/heat shield for single leaf only. Door Construction; 45/60/90-Min:
For use in approved mineral core construction per the Georgia Pacific procedures as of July 2006.
Hinges per NFPA-80, and listed by Georgia Pacific .
Vision Lite kit – Maximum 1296 sq. in. for 20/45-minute; 100 sq. in. for 60/90-minute. If vision lite kit uses Technical Glass Products (TGP), or equal, glazing and accessories, the vision lite sizes may be increased to meet TGP listings (reference TGP listings for further details).
Top latching only with no thermal fire pins required for singles, pairs and double egress on non-rated and 20-minute doors only. Thermal fire pins required on 45/60/90-minute rated doors. Horizontal thermal fire pins for 45-minute and vertical thermal fire pins for 60/90-minute rated doors. 20/45/60/90 Minute Doors singles only using the D3976 Series with the fire mount/heat shield shall have one thermal pin from door to floor required.
No overlapping astragal required on pairs or double egress up to and including 90-minute fire doors.
For Smoke & Draft Control assemblies ("S" Label) a positive pressure listed gasket shall be used. Metal and plastic kick plates allowed per NFPA-80 up to 16" height. HPL (plastic laminate) skins may be applied to door faces. Hinge edge can be supplied with fire-rated power transfer devices.

This category includes doors evaluated without an edge-sealing system for 20-Min rating only. It also includes 45/60/90-Min doors evaluated with a sealing system incorporated (concealed or visible) into the edge of the door by the licensed manufacturer or machining distributor.
These doors are eligible for use in any "Category C - Standard" frame. These doors may also be installed in frames listed in "Category C - Proprietary" in the accordance with the frame manufacturer's individual listing.
All doors listed in Category A and B are eligible to bear the "S" (for Smoke & Draft Control assemblies) if a listed "Category H - Smoke & Draft Control Gasket" has been applied to the assembly. Please refer to Category H for individual gasket manufacturer's listings.
