PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Doors:
The Presto Series fully glazed single swinging doors or doors swinging in pairs as well as transoms and sidelites are for protection of openings in drywall, masonry or concrete construction with ratings noted in the table below. The walls in which the fire door and frame assembly is installed must be fire-resistance rated construction as required by the applicable code.
Windows:
The Presto Series Fire Window Assemblies are for protection of openings in drywall, masonry or concrete construction with ratings as noted in the table below. The walls in which the window assembly is installed must be fire-resistance rated construction as required by the applicable code.
When using steel L-angle glazing stops in lieu of Forster's snap on glazing beads, a minimum stop height of 20 mm (13/16 in.) must be maintained, the steel L-angles must be a minimum of 1.6 mm (16 GA) thick, and they must be mechanically fixed to the framing profiles using steel fasteners spaced a maximum of 508 mm (20 in.) on center and 127 mm (5 in.) from the ends. CR glazing gaskets (supplied with the framing members) , closed cell foam glazing tape, or ceramic glazing tape shall be used on all edges on both faces. The wall in which the fire door and frame or window assembly is installed must be fire-resistance rated construction as required by the applicable code.
FIRE RATINGS
The Presto door and frame assemblies have been qualified for the following ratings according to UL 10C - Positive Pressure Fire tests of Door Assemblies and CAN/ULC-S104, Standard Method for Fire Tests of Door Assemblies:

Notes:
1. The maximum dimensions for the finished assembly are the maximum dimensions from the table above or the glass manufacturer’s size limitations, whichever is smaller.
2. When fully glazed with Pyrobel 60 or 90, door assemblies qualify for temperature rise restriction rating (T) which is defined as a maximum unexposed surface temperature increase of 450°F (250°C) when measured at 30 minutes during the fire test
*3. Fire Rating with Pyrobel 90-30EG6 panes is only applicable when glazing is installed as per manufacturer's instructions with logo facing the push side.
4. Double door assemblies with center mullion are allowed.
