PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Fuego Light Series Door and Frame Assemblies are Category D “Door/Frame Assemblies” single-leaf swinging doors or double-leaf swinging doors for installation in openings in steel/wood stud drywall or masonry walls for up to and including 90 minute fire protection durations. Walls must be listed fire rated construction.
The door leaves are glazed with Pyrobel 60-25 or Pyrobel 90-30 glazing material. When using Pyrobel 60-25, a minimum stop depth of 15.9 mm (5/8 in.) must be maintained and 6.4 mm (1/4 in.) high by 25.4 mm (1 in.) wide by 76.2 mm (3 in.) long calcium silicate setting blocks must be used at quarter points under the bottom edge. When using Pyrobel 90-30, a minimum stop depth of 15.9 mm (5/8 in.) must be maintained and 6.4 mm (1/4 in.) high by 31.8 mm (1-1/2 in.) wide by 76.2 mm (3 in.) long calcium silicate setting blocks must be used at quarter points under the bottom edge. When using steel L-angle glazing stops in lieu of Forster's snap on glazing beads, a minimum stop height of 20 mm (13/16 in.) must be maintained, the steel L-angles must be a minimum of 1.6 mm (16 GA) thick, and they must be mechanically fixed to the framing profiles using steel fasteners spaced a maximum of 508 mm (20 in.) on center and 127 mm (5 in.) from the ends. EPDM glazing gasket (supplied with the framing material) or closed cell foam glazing tape shall be used on all edges on both faces when using Pyrobel 60-25 or Pyrobel 90-30. All glazing shall be marked as certified for the fire-resistance rating required.
The overall width and height the door and frame assembly shall not exceed 116-3/4 in. × 121-1/2 in. (2965 mm × 3086 mm) width × height. The jamb depth shall be a minimum of 2-9/16-in. (65 mm).
Double door assemblies with center mullion are allowed.
