The Wayne Dalton - FEMA Series 800 Rolling Steel Storm Shelter Door assembly consists of an overhead barrel assembly, side guides, and a steel slat curtain. The rolling steel door assembly may be installed using “E” style or “Z” style side guides. The rolling door assembly may be anchored into concrete or steel substrates. The rolling door assembly is always installed on the protected (interior) face of the shelter envelope.
FEMA series 800 includes models 800F, 800FE, and 800FR.
This listing is for wind pressure and impact resistance only. Fire resistance, when required by Section 603 of ICC 500-2020, is outside the scope of this listing. Assemblies required to be fire-resistance-rated shall also bear the label of a separate fire listing to the applicable standard(s).

When mounted to steel supporting structure, Mounting Angles are anchored with minimum 3/4" diameter Grade 8 bolts spaced maximum 10 inches on-center. Structural adequacy of steel supporting structure is to be determined by others and is not evaluated as part of this Listing.
When mounted to concrete supporting structure, Mounting Angles are anchored with 3/4" diameter x 8-inch Hilti Kwik Bolt 3 wedge anchors spaced maximum 6 inches on-center. Adequacy of concrete supporting structure, end distances, and edge distances is to be determined by others and is not evaluated as part of this Listing.
Alternate anchoring to supporting structure that maintains the maximum on-center spacings indicated above is to be designed by a registered design professional for pull-out, shear, and placement to resist the design wind loads in accordance with ICC 500-2020 Section 304.
