Electrical and Plumbing and Gas aspects
The factory built units are constructed at the Bison Modular Homes Limited Partnership facility located in Beausejour, Manitoba and transported to the intended building site.
The certification covers the Electrical and Plumbing and Gas aspects only, and it is valid for the in-factory built residential, commercial, industrial, and relocatable type of prefabricated buildings, modules, and panels, provided they comply with the requirements of the building code/regulation/standard that apply at the installation location.
The certification does not cover portions of Electrical or Plumbing and Gas services that are not completed in the factory, site connections to municipal services, and transport of buildings or their erection at the building site.
The Intertek mark warrants an approved factory quality program and is intended to provide a means of verifying that the prefabricated portion of the Electrical and Plumbing and Gas equipment and systems, have been designed and built to meet or exceed the requirements of the appropriate building code or standards.
