Nu-Wool Nu-Seal 0.5 insulation is a two-component, open cell, spray-applied polyurethane foam plastic having a nominal in-place density of 0.45 pcf. Nu-Wool Nu-Seal 2.0 HFO and Nu-Seal Plus insulations are two-component, closed cell, spray-applied polyurethane foam plastics, having a nominal in-place density of 2.0 pcf.
The insulations are produced in the field by combining a polymeric isocyanate (A component) with a resin (B component).
The insulations meet the requirements of Mandatory Testing and selected Optional Testing of ICC-ES
Acceptance Criteria for Spray-applied Foam Plastic Insulation (AC377) for a medium-density insulation as described in Code Compliance Research Report CCRR-0375.
