The
Fireline F940L series fire barrier (Vertical) 16 in. thru 32 in., is a 2-hour rated fire-resistive joint system. The fire resistive joint system consists of a metallic system and multiple layers of fire blanket used as a fire barrier. The “Fireline F940 Series” is used as a fire-resistive joint system in commercial buildings as protection to deter smoke, hot gasses and flames from traveling between systems. Intertek is only certifying the fire barrier portion of the fire resistive joint system, which is manufactured by InPro Corporation. The metallic system must be either supplied by Inpro Corporation or another manufacturer and comply with the requirements of the Intertek Design Listings.
