All fans listed above shall be Certified by an approved agrency to UL 507 to be eligible for use in combination with the UL 555C ceiling dampers.
All fans listed above shall be Certified by an approved agency to CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 113 to be eligible for use in combination with the CAN/ULC-S112.2 ceiling dampers.
Product Description:
The ceiling damper models in combination with an approved fan as listed in the table above are approved in accordance with UL 555C, as an alternative to a hinged-door sheet metal damper over a minimum 12 in. diameter duct outlet that has been previously approved in ASTM E119 or UL 263 fire resistance-rated floor/ceiling or roof/ceiling assemblies with a Restrained or Unrestrained Rating not to exceed 3 hours. Maximum number of ceiling dampers and spacing shall be as specified in the design listing for the corresponding fire resistance-rated assembly.

The ceiling damper and fan combination shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions using the following installation method:
- Suspend the unit from the supporting construction per the manufacturer's installation instructions using minimum 12 GA steel wire at each corner.
