Product Description
Fully Glazed Door Assembly - 

The door leaves and frames are made using TGP Fireframes® Designer Series steel profiles with 50mm depth.
Door frames - 1829CA, 1830CA sections
Door leaves - Top rail, vertical stiles - 1830CA, 1831CA, 1891CA sections
Door leaves - Bottom rail - H2-021-254, H4-021-H90 sections
Intermediate transom members in door leaf - 1834CA section

The door leaf is glazed with fire rated glass ref: FireLite®, FireLite® NT or FireLite® IGU (with tempered glass) glazing panes. The glass is supported on calcium silicate setting blocks and kept in position using steel glazing beads. Ceramic glazing tape (Kerafix 2000) is used between the glass and flange/glazing beads. 1.5mm thick Flexpan 200 intumescent strip is required around the perimeter of IGU glass panes.


Supporting construction - The door assemblies may be installed in fire rated masonry walls, fire rated dry-wall constructions or TGP Fireframes® Curtainwall series fire rated glazed partitions.

Maximum tested sizes:

Single Leaf Door Assembly:
Door Frame size: 1207 x 2507mm (w x h) with 50mm depth
Door Leaf size: 1087 x 2435mm (w x h) with 50mm depth
Glass size in door: 929 x 2119mm (w x h)

Double leaf Door Assembly:
Door Frame size: 2234 x 2488mm (w x h) with 50mm depth
Door Leaf size: 1075 x 2435mm (w x h) with 50mm depth
Glass size in door: 914 x 1321mm (w x h)

The door leaves must be latched with fire rated mortise latch-sets with lever handles or fire exit hardware (push bar system) according to manufacturer's instructions. 

FIRE RATINGS
The fully glazed door assemblies qualify for the following ratings according to EN 1634-1:2014+A1:2018 - Fire resistance test for door and shutter assemblies and openable windows:

Integrity (E) 196 Minutes

Note 1: Door assemblies also meet the requirements of BS 476 Part 20 and 22 (1987) standards for 180 Minutes Integrity rating.
Note 2: For E 180 or lower ratings, based on overrun time - the door sizes can be extended by 15% in width and height provided the increase in overall door area is limited to 20%.
