Pemko 297_PK (MS), 303_PK (MS), 305_N (MS), and 316_PK (MS) meeting edge gaskets are recognized for use with Listed fire doors along the meeting edge of a pair that requires the use of a Category J gasket. The gaskets may be used with steel, wood, or fiberglass faced fire doors. Doors and frames shall be installed per NFPA 80.
Pemko 290_PK, 297_PK, 303_PK, 316_PK, 1842_PK, 2891_PK, 29394_PK perimeter edge gaskets are recognized for use with Listed fire doors along the perimeter edge of the door/frame that requires the use of a Category J gasket. The gaskets may be used with steel, wood, or fiberglass faced fire doors. Doors and frames shall be installed per NFPA 80.
- Category J: Other Gasketing (UL 10C) – e.g., Acoustic Gasket, Weather Seal, etc. [no edge seal or smoke and draft properties].

The gaskets may be used with hollow metal, wood, or fiberglass faced fire doors. The maximum leakage rate at the meeting edge of a pair of doors measured 0.55 scfm/linear foot with hollow metal, wood, or fiberglass faced fire doors.
