ANSI-A250.13, ASTM-E1886, ASTM-E1996 & ASTM-E331.
These products are evaluated for their ability to resist the loads and stresses that are expected to occur during a severe windstorm.

Ratings for single point cylindrical and mortise locksets are shown in terms of total design load in pounds force at the latch and, where applicable, wind borne debris impact load in foot-pounds.

Ratings for multipoint locksets and rim exit devices are shown in terms of pounds per square foot design load and impact rating based on the maximum door size tested.
